Musician by soul and by profession, she has immersed herself in this art since childhood. One of the most outstanding voices on the alto saxophone, with a consolidated and original sound.
She made her recording debut with the album “VIEWS” (Discmedi, 2017), recorded during her stay in Philadelphia (USA) and featuring the collaboration of trumpeter John Swana. Since then, her artistic projection has continued to grow.
Her love and dedication to composition gave birth to the octet “The Bop Collective”, an ensemble with more than ten years of trajectory and three albums released: The Bop Collective (Discmedi, 2018), Iaspis (The Changes, 2019), and Decisió i Coratge(The Changes, 2023). Original compositions and arrangements of melodies from the Jazz world and Brazilian popular music form the foundation of her musical imagination. The ensemble has received recognitions such as the Publieksprijs from the prestigious Dutch Jazz Competition and has performed on countless stages and festivals including Bimhuis (Amsterdam, The Netherlands), Amersfort Jazz Festival (Amersfort, The Netherlands), Le Rocher de Palmer (Bordeaux, France), Jazz AlémTejo(Alentejo, Portugal), Festival de Jazz de Sa Pobla (Mallorca), and Festival de Jazz de Terrassa.
In parallel, she leads other projects with which she has recorded the albums Mira (The Changes, 2021), Alto For Two (Berthold Records, 2024), and Ànima (The Changes, 2025). She is currently presenting the music of this latest album in a quartet format with Xavi Torres, Pau Sala, and Andreu Pitarch, with whom she has already performed across Europe (Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Sweden…). The “Ànima” project includes her first four-part Suite, a work that explores the states of the soul and brings out her many influences.
Her versatility as an instrumentalist and arranger has led her to collaborate with many musicians from different fields. She has also participated in larger ensembles such as Smack Big Dab, the Esmuc Jazz Project, the Orquestra de Jazz do Matosinhos, and the Clasijazz Big Band, recently conducted by renowned composer Maria Schneider.
In addition to writing music for her own projects, she has composed for a multitude of other initiatives such as Extraño Weys, Clasijazz-Valparaíso Big Band, Smack Big Dab, Esmuc Jazz Project, among others. She has collaborated with renowned musicians and ensembles such as Melissa Aldana, Perico Sambeat, La Vella Dixieland, Miho Hazama, Becca Stevens, Rita Payés, Lluís Vidal, Sant Andreu Jazz Band, Joan Chamorro, Andrea Motis, Alba Pujals, Lluc Casares, Xavi Torres, Andreu Pitarch, Joan Casares, Oriol Vallès, Scott Hamilton, Alba Careta, Héctor Floría, etc.
She is currently a professor at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and co-founder of the The Changes collective and record label.
